What we look at

Most of the difficulty in sourcing fabrication isn't finding shops. It's finding out which ones will answer you, how booked they are, and whether the work is genuinely in their wheelhouse. That information isn't published anywhere, so we gather it directly.

Shop response benchmarks

We run response-time studies across the fabrication shops in a given metro - how quickly they reply to an inquiry, through which channel, and what lead times they're quoting. Shops that take part get their own results back alongside the anonymised distribution for their city, free.
